   Not had a guitar ling but try my best and feel like I was stuck in abit of a rut , but today went on Utube looking for beginner lessons, came across you showing some easy riffs.couldnt get some but when I tried Ben E King ... Stand by me..... It was ace the way you put it over and its really coming together now ... thanks to you. Top guy. give us more of that thanks

5. Hey man i have been visiting your site for about a month now and i really like the way you teach. You really break it down and dont use the crazy lingo a typical teacher would and expect u to understand. ANyway i was wondering if you might teach a song? THe song is by nonpoint and its called Alive and kicking. It has a really cool bass line in it and im haveing trouble muting the strings while i pick it. I think it is picked anyway.

8. hey dman.i stole your riff to give me an idea for a song.i have now changed the riff to make it my own.thanks for the inspiration.i have taken the home recording to my band ,now its a complete song.here is the link of the original.great site man.ive been playing cover bands for years and done a lot of great gigs ,played in french ski reorts ,played a few one of gigs in the states while on a road trip with the band but never really tried to make my bass playing technique better.but ive now moved from the uk to slovenia and i play bass everyday.with your easy going help my playing has come on ten fold.this video is about 3 months old.since then ive played none stop and am making up all my own bass lines and writing alot of lyrics.thanks alot.also my thum and pop has come a long way,still a bit slow but accurate.

9. thanks for such an idiot proof lesson ,, I have had my bass for 2 years now i have got several bass books for beginers and have tried to use them but it doesnt go well and i get dispondant and then leave the bass in a cupboard for 3 months ,,, kind regards ,,,, simon

14. So where abouts in England do you live Kris?

    Im in a peaceful little place called dunstable. I was thinking of taking a weekend down to where you lived. The countryside sounds beautiful down there and just the perfect place to play and relax.
