I loved writing this book. It took me from 2002, to 2005 to complete. I lived and breathed every character, and my head lived in the world I had created at that time.

I wrote it. Loved it, and left it. These days, it's harder to get a book offcially published than to get your band signed! My time is in different places these days, so although this book sits un-published, I still believe in it, and love it.

When I had finished writing it, I submitted sample chapters to the BBC as well as other places. The feedback I recieved from the BBC was:

'I think we have just found the next Terry Pratchett. Brilliant.'

What is it about? Well, it's about a Hippo and a herb! The Herb, offers immortality and the story is based around the complications that can bring, but with comedy. It is set in a fantasy world, with typical values such as magic and monsters. It is aimed at young adults.
